FACTS:
Built in 1936 after the original Coliseum became the Women's Building, the
State Fair Coliseum hosted an April 1, 1983 WCCW card which featured a Ric
Flair-Kevin Von Erich NWA championship bout and a brutal David Von
Erich-Terry Gordy clash -- but is probably best remembered for David's
in-ring spanking of Sunshine.
STATUS: Still a frequently-used venue for concerts, rodeos and
livestock shows, and is the site of "The Phantom's Haunted House" during the
Fair and through Halloween.
