WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TITLE HISTORIES All histories taken from wrestling-titles.com.
(NOTE: Most wrestling historians seem to agree that the Big Time Wrestling (which was the precursor in name to World Class) brand was dropped in late March/early April 1982, and was re-christened World Class Championship Wrestling at this time. Also, World Class would be renamed the USWA (United States Wrestling Association) under the ownership of promoter Jerry Jarrett in August 1989. Thus I decided that the title history should include only the time frame the promotion was called WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING, and not Big Time Wrestling nor the USWA. I still included the number of title reigns in parenthesis which pre-dated from Big Time Wrestling as they are the same titles that were used in World Class.
