This June 8, 1979 program from St. Louis' Kiel Auditorium
hypes an upcoming NWA World Title bout with champion Harley Race
defending the belt against David Von Erich (who, as the article at
bottom indicates, had recently begun using his father Fritz's famed Iron
Claw as his finisher). Race took the second and third falls to defeat
David in this best-of-three showdown.

1988. Sadly, the teaming of Bruiser Brody and Kevin Von Erich
at Texas Stadium (against Buddy Roberts and Solomon Grundy),
hyped in the April 29 program at left, would be Brody's final
appearance in WCCW before his murder in Puerto Rico on July
17; the program at right (from July 29) included a tribute to
him.
